Social Studies - Dickson

Welcome to our Social Studies blog where you can find information on what your child will be learning in the library.

Please note that I will be including information on major projects, useful websites, any homework tasks, and any other updates that are relevant to what we may be studying in Social Studies.

If you are looking for specific information on the curriculum expectations that your child will be focusing on this year, please see the link to the Social Studies curriculum on the right-hand side of the main webpage under "Helpful Links."

Throughout their learning in Social Studies, your child will be a part of the Inquiry-Based Learning process.  This process is where students pose real and valid questions, find resources, interpret the information, and present or report on their findings.
